Well, this year…This year we thought we had it all…

We normally don’t think about what was happening during the year – we just let things happen and go on with no consideration of why something happened.

But this year taught us valuable lessons – Do things with care & Every moment matters – you never know when you’ll be gone.

In the first half of the year 2019, we thought we were on top of the world!

We found out we are going to be a first time Mummy & Daddy.

We were so happy and definitely unprepared (which we believe every first time Parent feels).

Me – Maja was also shocked that I am pregnant because the doctors have been telling me for all my life that I am going to have problems with getting pregnant due to my Hashimoto Syndrome (Thyroid Issue).

We were trying to conceive for about two, maybe three months…And suddenly I was pregnant! With no complications, I just had the privilege to finally feel what pregnancy means. I had all the symptoms a pregnant woman can have – from all-day sickness (do not understand why they call it Morning sickness to mood swings and food cravings). And I enjoyed every single little thing that pregnancy brought to me =)

So, I was 14 weeks pregnant.

And then, on July 16th we had an appointment with my gynecologist. We were excited because we were going to found out if I am carrying a Boy or a Girl.

I was certain that our firstborn is going to be a Boy. And I was right as it turned out in the end.

To shorten this long and sad story – we got the news that our little Prince is gone and later on it was discovered that he had a Chromosome disorder.

We were “lucky” enough to scatter our boy’s ashes – he was big enough not to just throw him in the trash as biological waste.

And yes, I know there are probably a few of you that are wondering why we have started working on a family so late…Well, I lost my mother at 26 and I couldn’t imagine having kids with her gone. And then came the age of 33 and my brain slowly started to adapt to the concept of Family with Children. See, for me…us 2 were enough to form a Family…For a while…

After the miscarriage, which was right on my 35th birthday, we went to Croatia for 7 days just to try to heal for a little bit.

We left everything behind and just tried our best to forget about our loss. We were on an emotional roller-coaster for 2 days and then…we just had fun =)

And then..then we came home and I began working again.

To better understand our situation – we left our half-time jobs in Maribor and went to the Coast for better-payed jobs. We ended up working in a very stressful environment for 12 hours a day/almost 7 days a week. We were stuck in a Rat race, although we are fighting against it…

We thought that we will have time & money to invest in our Company. Well, we did invest – our Company is now an Ltd =)

But we did not have time, nor energy to invest in the growth of the Company.

The stress of the job and grief after 3 months left me with a pulmonary embolism on both wings of the lung. I was hospitalized for 6 days and the doctors still cannot find the reason why this happened. I was really lucky – there is no damage to the heart and my lungs are intact =)  There are still some tests that they are going to do – one of the tests is for a blood disease, which, if I have it probably caused the miscarriage.

I quit my job, Simon has found a better job and Next Year we will be here for you, sharing our story and growing our Company in a more Healthy and Conscious way =)

I felt the need to share our story with you, so that You, our beloved Customers/Readers don’t feel left out, because we were inactive on our Social Media Sites for the past 6 months.

We hope you understand and that You will stay with us and we can grow together in the upcoming Year =)

Dear Customers/Readers, we wish you HAPPY HOLIDAYS and MAGICAL YEAR 2020!
