Why should you begin to swing?
Do you remember when you were a child and discovering nature was such a fun and adventurous experience?
And when you were on the playground, swinging and trying to reach the sky? Do you remember the feeling of freedom?
Are you stressed or feeling a little bit depressed?
Swinging on a swing set can help you gain back some balance in your life. It is a fact that when babies cannot fall asleep, it is best to rock them in your arms. This feeling of rocking is printed in our brains. And as we grow, our brain starts to develop, and we start to crawl and then walk. Children often have sensory issues, and we can help them with everyday swinging. Swinging is a motion that naturally helps to develop children’s motoric skills and also can help with developing eyesight.
And now we are adults with many responsibilities, and with this also comes everyday stress.
To help you relax a little bit, we recommend you find a swing or a hammock and remember that soothing rocking motion when you were a baby in your mother’s arms. Doesn’t that feel good? Now, remember how it was when you were a child, and you were on a swing next to the sea and trying to reach the sun, the sky, and the birds. Or when you were a teenager, in the woods, where your father built you a safe place with a hammock so that you could read all those adventurous stories.
But swinging is not just a way to calm your mind – it is also a fitness regime.
Dancers, Zumba, Aerobics and Yoga people, and Bodybuilders have started to include swinging in their workout routine because of the freedom of movement the swing adds to a warm-up and the intensity of the fitness levels that can be achieved.
Swinging is also a well-known therapy for children with Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome.
Overall, the benefits of swinging are more than just having fun.
Swinging is a way to calm your child or yourself. It can be done by everyone – from babies to toddlers and from adults to elderly people.
And that is why we recommend you to swing every day of your life!
